Sam graduated with a degree in Financial Services in 2001 and went on to achieve Chartered Status with the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2011. Sam then became a “Fellow” of the CII in 2018
Sam has been providing financial advice to clients since 2002. Prior to accepting the invitation to join St. James's Place as an Associate Partner Practice, he worked as a Financial Consultant with NFU Mutual, addressing the financial planning needs of both private and corporate clients, primarily across the West Midlands.
Over the 15 years spent in his previous role, Sam built a successful career, priding himself on the quality of his advice and the time he spent monitoring the plans that he put in place for his clients. This wealth of experience and technical knowledge has also enabled him to assist clients in a wide variety of areas such as:

Sam is committed to ensuring his industry knowledge and experience continues to deliver value for clients. In the ever-changing world of financial planning he places strong personal and ethical emphasis on his ongoing professional development.
Outside work, Sam is a dedicated husband and father of two young daughters. He is a keen golfer, and likes to keep fit by cycling and regularly visiting the gym.
